Qualifications:

-Bachelor's Degree or Higher

-Certified Secondary Teacher

-Special Education Certification (or willing to enroll in a program)

 

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and support positive behavior 

- Implement supports outlined in IEP plans 

- Complete IEPs, paperwork, and all items necessary to support students with IEPs

- Create and complete lessons to help students reach their IEP goals

- Communicate well with families, students, and staff

- Mantain a positive outlook when working with students

- Learn about Potterville policies, guidelines, expectations, etc.

- Provide academic supports in the classroom under guidance of the teacher

- Calmly handle various situations that may occur in various different environments (i.e. - one-on-one, classroom, outside, etc)
